Counselling For Children Services
Providing vital support to children, young people and their families, with over 25 years experience.
Our Counselling for Children Services
Tappy Twins is a division of TT Training Academy and provides vital counselling for children across the UK both online and face to face. Best of all, we support children, young people and their families, when they need it most.
Tappy Twins is a one-stop support service, that takes a holistic approach to counselling for children. Namely, we focus on the mental and emotional health and well-being of children and their families. Consequently, excellent results are achieved through our 1-2-1 counselling for children, workshops and family support. Whilst we encourage positive and emotional well-being, we hold a firm focus on prevention.
Furthermore, our highly skilled and dedicated counselling for children team has over 25 years of experience. Our team has specialists in many areas such as behavioural, specific needs and eating disorders. All of our counsellors are fully trained counsellors and mental health specialists.
Most importantly, every one of our counsellors uses a unique combination of counselling, therapy, mentoring and coaching in our 1-2-1 sessions and group work. For example, some of these include EFT, NLP, CBT, Mindfulness, Matrix Reimprinting and Picture Tapping.
Who We Work With
Most of our work comes from referrals from schools, Social Services, Family Support, Barnados and CAMHS. As a result, we work as part of a team within schools councils and all agencies. This enables us to provide long-lasting results for those young people and families that are facing difficulties.
We offer a bespoke range of services within schools, including 1-2-1 sessions, parenting classes, teacher training, and group workshops for young people and staff. In addition, we also work with larger projects, for example, that are government or social investor funded.
Our Mission Statement
Our team believe that every child and young person deserves to be happy, safe and loved. Furthermore, we believe in the ability of every single family to overcome any obstacles and move forward. As a result, they feel able to create the future they deserve.
During our counselling for children and young people, we ensure that everyone is listened to and heard. Best of all, whilst discussing, exploring, developing and using coping mechanisms to empower them to deal with their complex emotions.
Furthermore, all of this will be achieved with complete transparency, professionalism and ensure that the results are measurable.
