It involves being acutely aware of our thoughts, emotions, and why we do what we do. It means being aware in the moment and paying close attention to what is happening in the ‘here and now’, instead of focusing on our past memories or future predictions.

Our Working with Mindfulness course, is approved by the National Counselling Society and provides you with the confidence and skills you need to practice mindfulness. It also teaches you the techniques to reduce your stress, improve your positive outlook, and support you on your journey to living a mindful life.

This course enables you to develop, practise and teach pragmatic mindfulness in a personal, social or professional capacity.

During the 1-day course there will be guided meditation sessions along with plenty of time for questions and discussions. Upon completing the course you will become proficient in using, or working with Mindfulness based techniques. You will learn and further explore a variety of meditation practices including:

Mindfulness of Breathing, Body Scan meditation and Compassion meditation and we will share tools and techniques for use in everyday life to help calm the mind and deal with difficult situations.
